DAY 1: OCTOBER 26TH
Make a List, Check It Twice
Start the week with a plan you can actually finish. You'll map out who you're making for and pace your projects so the holidays don't turn into late-night stress sewing. Then pick up the tools that make every decision easier: resizing any quilt block, testing a palette before you buy yardage, and understanding pantographs. The Quilt As You Go Christmas Tree Block gets your hands moving on day one.
DAY 2: OCTOBER 27TH
Home for the Holidays
Today is all about making your home feel like the holidays. You'll turn your scrap bin into a festive wall hanging and learn how to pick scraps so a scrappy quilt looks planned, not random. Piece a quartered-strip block that looks completely different just by moving fabrics around, create a snowy mountain scene with appliqué and decorative stitches, and finish with sweet appliquéd coasters — a perfect first try at machine appliqué.
DAY 3: OCTOBER 28TH
'Tis the Season for Texture
This is the day your quilting steps forward. You'll learn free motion designs you can resize to fit any border or block, add a soft knit scarf panel for texture and dimension, combine ruler quilting and hand stitching on a star for your front door, and slow down with a hand-stitched pumpkin mini quilt where every wobbly pumpkin is the right one.
DAY 4: OCTOBER 29TH
Wrapped with Love
Sometimes the best gift is the thing that holds it. You'll make a quilted mitten that turns a gift card into a keepsake, stitch a personalized money holder in the embroidery hoop, and sew a pillow that ties its own bow. You'll also print on fabric with everyday objects to make quilted pouches and design custom quilting on a holiday envelope perfect for hiding a little treat.
DAY 5: OCTOBER 30TH
Quick Gifts, Big Smiles
Short on time? Today is built for you. Make quilt-as-you-go coasters that take a real bite out of your scrap bin, turn orphan blocks into ornaments and little gifts, and piece an adorable gingerbread pillow with the stitch and flip method. Finish with quilted holiday postcards and practical tips for fast, accurate half-square triangles.
