DAY 1: SEPTEMBER 21ST
Piecing & Precision
Half-square triangles three ways, LeMoyne stars with no Y-seams, and fussy cutting that catches exactly the motif you meant. Plus a calm rescue plan for the top that has gone sideways, because it happens to everyone. Precision you can actually repeat, taught without anyone making you feel behind.
DAY 2: SEPTEMBER 22ND
Scrappy & Sustainable Quilting
Pull scraps with a system instead of a shrug, then watch what they turn into. A whole bonus quilt pieced between your other projects, a denim jacket brought back to life, a tote built with no pattern at all. Nothing here ends up back in the bin.
DAY 3: SEPTEMBER 23RD
Machine Quilting & Embellishment
Free motion starts on paper, long before the needle, then grows into soft curls, flower swirls and custom designs. Rulers act as training wheels, stencils get used in ways you have not seen, and textile paints, specialty stitches and raw edge appliqué round out the day. This is where the finished pile starts growing.
DAY 4: SEPTEMBER 24TH
Design & Creative Exploration
Where an idea actually comes from, and how to grow one into a finished quilt. Color palettes without the guessing, a whole year of weather built from one repeated block, improv that still reads deliberate, watercolor florals, and digital tools that get you there faster.
DAY 5: SEPTEMBER 25TH
Projects, Tools & Finishing Touches
Close the week with something done. A two-block fall throw, a paper pieced stocking, a table runner quilted around every motif, binding with no visible border, serger shortcuts and faster cutting. Plus how to plan your quilting before the first stitch, so the finish never feels like guesswork.
